I waited one year after moving into my new Bloomingdale-built home to write a review because I wanted to make sure that the promised level of quality was sustained. Everything about my home has been terrific without any post-construction problems. In fact, Bob Bloomingdale makes a promise to follow up with his clients one-year after completion to repair or fix reasonable issues. John Bloomingdale, along with the rest of his on-site team, followed through on that promise. My experience with the Bloomingdale group was positive throughout construction. They listened carefully to what I wanted and responded with feasible options, always with an eye on cost and the quality of their recommended vendors. My project was completed on-time, eight months after construction began in November, 2014. Overall, the "design build" process I used saved me money and time, but only because the Bloomingdale people made every effort to communicate honestly and quickly with me at each step throughout the process. I can say unequivocally that I had a 5-star experience with this firm.
